Post race hydration is important - No. 7 in a series.
Saturday was a perfect morning for the @gottarunracing Rainbow Trail Run at Earl Rowe Provincial Park. It was great to finally run this race after two years of delays due to the pandemic. A well organized event with a fantastic course, awesome swag and great snacks.
I ran the 12k single loop. I had planned to do the double loop, but transferred to the shorter distance as my training has not been going as planned this year. In hindsight, it was the right decision.
A big thank you to the volunteers who helped to make this an incredible experience.
And a special shout out to Trish Teeter, who gave me a scoop of ice 🥶 at the aid station to put in my hat. What a relief on a warm day 🥵!
